Document Retrieval & Management
Certrec Corporation has made a concerted effort over the years
to develop a reliable system of document retrieval and management
for its customers. The result of these efforts is the
system that is used in our RECALL® Web and RECALL®
IRIS products. This system is comprised of two parts:
a 'File Cabinet' section and a 'Full Text Search' section.
The File Cabinet
The File Cabinet section of our document retrieval and management
system is designed to make it easy to locate the particular
document(s) for which your search is being conducted. If
you know the specific documents you desire, the File Cabinet
provides you with a quick and easy method of retrieving them.
Much like a physical file cabinet, this 'virtual' File
Cabinet system gives the user the means to browse through Certrec's
extensive nuclear regulatory database with ease. Within
a couple clicks of your mouse, you will have the document you
desire displayed on your screen. Documents in the File Cabinet
are broken down in to different sections, much as documents
in a physical file cabinet are split up into different drawers
and folders.
Full Text Search
The Full Text Search section of our document retrieval and
management system is designed to help out those people who are
looking for documents that include particular keywords. If
you have a topic that you would like to find some documentation
on, simply perform a Full Text Search on a set of documents
and a listing of the documents with the most hits will be displayed.
Next, click on the hyperlink to a document and it opens
in a frame next to the document list with your search words
highlighted. Finding documents on a topic using Full Text
Search is quick and easy!
