February Poll Insights

Last month, we asked our audience: What is the purpose of MOD-033? Overall, the most voted answer was Relay Settings, with 60 percent of the vote. Tied for second place was Model Validation and Fuel Storage with both receiving 20 percent. In fourth place, Pivot Logs received zero percent of the vote.

The correct answer is Model Validation. MOD-033 refers to the NERC reliability standard “Steady-State and Dynamic System Model Validation.” Its purpose is to ensure that the power system models used in planning and analysis accurately represent real-world system performance.
