Certrec’s Electronic Reading Rooms Becoming Industry Standard

Online Reference Portal Users Grow to More Than 1000 Industry-Wide

Fort Worth, TX (PRWEB) March 05, 2013 — Certrec, a leading licensing and regulatory compliance provider for NRC, FERC, and NERC compliance, announced today more than one thousand regulatory compliance professionals are now using its Electronic Reading Rooms (Online Reference Portal) for NRC review of Fukushima Response, licensing amendments, COLA/DCD preparations, NFPA 805 compliance, Life-of-Plant extensions, and special projects.

“Our Electronic Reading Rooms (ERRs) are rapidly becoming the industry standard for exchanging documents with the Regulator,” says Ted Enos, CEO of Certrec. “With over 1000 regulatory compliance professionals and NRC users online, Certrec ERRs are active in all four NRC Regions supporting such projects as New Plant, NFPA 805, Life Extension, and Special Project reviews. We are also excited to be supporting the industry with emerging needs such as Emergency Planning and Fukushima Reviews.”

Certrec’s ERRs are a proven, reliable, and cost effective solution for providing a controlled review platform for regulator oversight of project materials. The Electronic Reading Rooms are simple to deploy and support a variety of compliance needs through standard web browsers, smart phones or smart pads – needing no special software or IT support.

“Proven in all four Regions, our ERRs provide a familiar and accepted interface for establishment of document review libraries,” Enos notes. “With the extent of deployment in the industry, familiarity with the ERR is high, training needs are lessened, and regulatory acceptance is strong.”
