Regulatory Veteran Larry Nicholson Joins Certrec’s OLC Team as Senior Project Manager

40-year Industry and NRC Regulatory Affairs Leader Brings Broad Range of Expertise to Certrec’s Office of Licensing and Compliance Team.

FORT WORTH, Texas (PRWEB) February 27, 2019 — Certrec, a leading licensing and regulatory compliance service provider that supports NRC and NERC compliance, announced today that industry veteran Larry Nicholson has joined its staff to serve as a Senior Project Manager.

Mr. Nicholson brings more than 40 years of experience covering the full range of nuclear plant performance. Previously he served as the Director of Regulatory Affairs at NextEra Energy and TVA. He formerly worked at Oconee as the site Licensing Manager and then site Safety Assurance Manager, responsible for Licensing, Security, Emergency Preparedness, Environmental and Safety, and Performance Improvement. Before joining Duke, Mr. Nicholson served for many years with the NRC in positions of increasing responsibilities to include Senior Resident Inspector and NRC Region executive. While with the NRC, he was appointed to the Federal Government Senior Executive Service.
