Nashville, TN, May 12 – 13, 2025 — This month, Angela Hesebeck and Steve Catron attended the Reuters: Small Modular Reactor (SMR) and Advanced Reactor conference in Nashville. The event was held to connect companies designing or planning to build new SMRs or Advanced Reactors with vendors to either secure funds or specialty services and products. Certrec was a sponsor for the conference and showcased our Software as a Solution (SaaS) products and Certrec’s vast industry expertise to attendees of the conference. “Over the course of the two days,” Angela said, “Steve and I were able to share information, as well as marketing materials, on Electronic Reading Rooms (ERRs), Electronic Documents services, Taktix, Compliance Action Tracking System (CATS), and Fatigue Rule Management System (FRMS.)” Steve Catron moderated a panel on streamlining regulation to accelerate advanced reactor deployment—a critical topic as the industry moves from design to deployment at scale.
Angela and Steve also had the opportunity to speak with some of our current clients, such as PSEG, Energy Northwest, and Callaway face to face. We received positive feedback about their interactions with Customer Support, Electronic Documents, and PMO teams.” Our expertise eases the regulatory burden they have as part of their jobs. “The show gave us time to see companies who own current operating plants but are not our clients,” Angela expressed enthusiastically. “The best part of the event was meeting representatives from companies who had never heard of Certrec.”
