What is something you like for people at work to know about working with you?
Working with me is simple: I don’t like nonsense, and I like producing results. I’m direct, I say what I mean, and I don’t believe in sugarcoating. I appreciate people who are just as straightforward.
What do you like to talk about?
I enjoy conversations that range from tech and research to unusual places you’ve been or funny, unexpected stories. I like hearing what people are genuinely passionate about.
What’s your favorite movie and why?
The Lord of the Rings always stands out in my mind, even after watching thousands of other movies worth mentioning. I think it’s partly because the movies came out when I was quite young, at a time when my imagination was wide open and my fascination with fantasy was just beginning. The world, the characters and the scale of it all absolutely captivated me. That’s why it’ll always be the first movie that comes to mind when someone asks me this question.
What hobbies do you have?
I pick up all kinds of hobbies, but most consistently, you’ll find me gaming. It’s how I like to spend a lot of my free time. I play pretty much anything, from helldivers to MMOs.
Do you have pets? Tell us about them:
I have a cat named Aloy after the main character from Horizon Zero Dawn. But I mostly call her Goblin because she’s always messing with me, biting me, and she’s not sorry!

What is something you like for people at work to know about working with you?
I tend to keep to myself, but I am always open to communication and feedback.
What do you like to talk about?
I can always talk about computers or general sciences. I train at a flight gym; mainly jiu jitsu.

Carl Sagan; It would be interesting to bring him into today and hear his thoughts.
What was your first paying job?
Changing oil and cleaning up a local car shop in the town where I grew up when I was 13 or 14.

Tell us a little about yourself.
I will be getting married this October! My fiancée is a Texan, but I convinced her to leave Houston and move to Ohio. We have a cat named Penny, who you might see walk behind me during a Teams meeting.
What hobbies do you have?
Most of my hobbies revolve around outdoor activities. In the summertime, I like to spend my time racing sailboats. When it starts to snow, I enjoy cross country ski touring. During the times when it is too cold to sail but there is no snow on the ground you can find me backpacking and camping.
What’s your favorite movie and why?
My favorite movie of all time is Goodfellas. I like most of Martin Scorsese’s movies, but Goodfellas is the best story and has the best action.
What was your first paying job?
I worked at a bike shop during high school. I still enjoy working on bikes in my free time.
