Conducted by independent auditing firm Schellman, the assessment reaffirms that Certrec’s security program continues to meet the evolving demands of the standard, from technical controls to formal governance and risk-management processes.

The ISMS is certifiable against ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and is integrable with other compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 Type 2. The SOC 2 Type 2 examination, also performed by Schellman, evaluated Certrec against the AICPA’s Trust Services Categories for security, availability, and confidentiality.
