The electric power industry needs experience and knowledge from their NERC compliance support teams to ensure successful NERC compliance programs and audits
Fort Worth, Texas (PRWEB)

Certrec, a leading regulatory compliance provider for NERC compliance, has been supporting one of its clients since 2012, most recently by developing its Reliability Standard Audit Worksheet (RSAW) packages.

Using Certrec’s electronic RSAW generator and Certrec’s Action Tracking System (CATS), Certrec aided the entity by coordinating directly with the regulators in the submittal process of all documentation for the audit, which was performed by the Texas Reliability Entity (TRE). This was the entity’s first audit since registering as a Generator Owner in TRE. Certrec also assisted with all requests for information between the regulators and site personnel.

Holly Haynes, Certrec’s Office of NERC Compliance Services Manager, remarked, “There were no findings or areas of concern and only two recommendations—a successful audit that shows the value of support by experienced NERC professionals. I am very proud of how the team came together and achieved this positive result.”

Certrec Senior Project Manager Don Derbonne agreed, adding, “Our team successfully supports its clients’ efforts to comply with the NERC Standards. Certrec manages the client’s Internal Compliance Program on an ongoing basis making the transition into audit preparation seamless.”

Certrec’s focused approach to audit readiness is key to successful client programs. Certrec has been dedicated to regulatory compliance since its inception.
