NERC Regulatory Compliance Expert Kristi Huffstatler Joins Certrec’s Office of NERC Compliance

Fort Worth, TX (PRWEB) September 26, 2017 — Certrec, a leading regulatory compliance provider for NERC and FERC compliance, announced today that Kristi Huffstatler, a noted regulatory affairs and compliance expert, has joined its Office of NERC Compliance practice.

Ms. Huffstatler has held various compliance oversight positions at Entergy Operations, Incorporated’s River Bend Nuclear Station (RBS). Most recently, Kristi was responsible for providing and managing resources to address regulatory and licensing issues in support of operation, maintenance, and refueling at RBS. Activities have included developing, submitting, and negotiating license change notices (LCN) and responses to Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) inspection findings. Kristi was primarily responsible for day-to-day communications with the NRC’s Senior Resident Inspector and for leading RBS’s effort to prepare for and support both resident inspector inspection efforts and regional based inspections including large team inspections. Kristi is also highly experienced in Emergency Planning. Kristi has also been highly involved in the success of Regional Licensing Manager’s peer groups such as RUG IV.
