CAISO recently put out recommendations for the installation of high-speed data recording capabilities on all inverter-based resources based on the lessons learned from the 2021 loss of over 1,100MW of solar photovoltaic resources in Texas. The fact that the CAISO has published the recommendation is a strong indicator that a system wide requirement could soon be forthcoming. Get ahead of the curve by joining us in this webinar in which we will both review the events leading up to the promulgation of the CAISO memo as well as share with you an elegant, easy to install and highly reliable approach to achieving full compliance with the recommendations.
Certrec’s Director of NERC Compliance, Evans Heacock, will host the call and provide a technical review of the Odessa Disturbance. Fischer Block’s CEO, Greg Wolfe, will present their SMART Block® solution, which is a fully compliant approach for implementing the recommendations laid out by CAISO.
