35 Year Nuclear Industry Veteran to Assist Certrec Nuclear Clients with Assessing the Significance of Events, Completing Root Cause Evaluations and Preparing for Reactive Inspections.
Fort Worth, TX (PRWEB) February 11, 2016 — Certrec, a leading licensing and regulatory compliance service provider that supports NRC and NERC compliance, announced today that Mr. Wayne Schmidt has joined Certrec’s Office of Licensing and Compliance team as a Project Manager.
Mr. Schmidt recently retired as a Senior Reactor Analysist (SRA) from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and has over 35 years of experience in the areas of compliance, maintenance, testing, inspection and regulation of commercial nuclear reactors. He has a high level of knowledge in the areas of the significance determination process, mitigation strategies for internal and external events and the reactor oversight process.
